Dr. Williams is an ASCEND Faculty Research Fellow at Yale (https://faculty.yale.edu/diversity/ascend-initiative) for Summer 2025 and assistant professor of mathematics at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. His research focuses on defining infinite-dimensional representations of Lie superalgebras, decomposing tensor product representations, presenting the genetics (generators and relations) of reduction superalgebras, and analyzing the journeys of mathematicians, including work in graduate education and the development of proof-writing materials.

Representation Theory

Several members of the department conduct research in Representation Theory and related topics. There is a weekly Geometric Representation Theory seminar
