Abstract: we give a quick introduction to Fourier coefficients of modular forms and their importance in the Langlands program. We then turn to Fourier coefficients of automorphic forms over function fields and explain a micro-local interpretation of Fourier coefficients in this setting. The latter is joint work with Sam Raskin.
